HEC Paris & Creative Destruction Lab Overview 🏛️

HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center

The HEC Paris Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center has been created to enhance HEC Paris' reputation as the leading European Business School for Entrepreneurial and Digital Innovation, meeting the aspirations of a new generation of students and the needs of businesses.

As well as overseeing the coordination of the Business School's programs, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center runs an innovation laboratory for developing cutting-edge ideas.

Creative Destruction Lab

The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), is a not-for-profit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed stage, science- and technology-based companies.

The program has created more than $15B in equity, targeting ventures that have the potential to transform our social, industrial, and economic landscape.

CDL-Paris - Climate Stream

The CDL-Paris Climate Stream is a joint program of HEC Paris and Creative Destruction Lab.

Our program targets technical founders who are tackling climate, natural resource, and environmental challenges predicated on novel innovations across a wide variety of enabling technology categories. This stream is tailored towards early-stage companies (early venture or growth) or even projects (pre-incorporation); however, startups at all levels of maturity will be considered.

Companies accepted to the CDL Climate Stream benefit from mentors and partners with the experience, motivation, network, and capital to navigate the complex process of developing and implementing climate-related technologies. Mentor and venture relationships are built through CDL engineered interactions and in some cases extend beyond the program through ongoing advisory roles.

We support ventures in the following areas: Mobility, Transportation, and Infrastructure; Future of Food; Sustainable Materials/Manufacturing; Building & Cities; Renewable & Alternative Energy Transition; Greenhouse Gas Reduction, Carbon Sequestration, and Removal; Waste/Circular Economy; and more!

Venture Analyst Position 👩‍💼

The Venture Analyst will primarily support CDL-Paris venture recruitment for the 2022/23 cohort, including rolling out and managing recruitment infrastructure and identifying viable CDL venture applicants.

CDL prides itself on its world-class venture scouting and recruitment, and its ability to detect technologies with the potential to change the world in a massive fashion.

Venture identification and qualification are therefore some of the most strategic aspects of our program.
